GSS.

The GSS is making me as broke as a ______.

Like, for reals. Spent $800 at Zara together with mom, and saw some things at Mango worthy to check out. One thing I hate about sales are the crowds that come with it, and it makes me lazy to go to the changing room to try on outfits... And then I come home and try the clothes on, and either one is a size too big or a size too small.

Watched TRANSFORMERS a day ago with Ailin, Shaun & Greg. 'Twas AMAZING. A little too much dialogue but it was gooooooooood, and it explained so much more than I expected it to. Loved the fights and explosions though, and I don't usually like explosions in movies. *_*

The little things...

Sometimes it's the little things in life that makes you happy. There's no need for a new branded bag or winning the lottery. The simple simple pleasures in life count as well.



My demon dog makes me happy every single day :D When I see her wag her tail, when I see her drink water or when I see her just lying in front of the door looking outside; makes me feel happy enough.



My mom bought these home yesterday and my sister and I just made a beeline for it! J.Co donuts are teh sex.



Shopping. Ohhhhhh shopping. My latest loot made a hole in my bank account but whatev cos' the clothes make me a happy person. I really gotta stop buying shit though.



Baby bought this for me the other day! Strawberry sorbet = my favourite! Island Creamery really has good ice creams and strawberry sorbet is amaaaaaazing!


SPEAKING OF ICE CREAM!!!

I chanced upon UDDERS ICE CREAM yesterday and tried a couple of flavours. All their ice creams are so smooth in texture and utterly DIVINE! Their Mao shan wang durian ice cream is SOOOO good. And not to mention a classic cookies n cream... Definitely worth a try!

Work yesterday surprisingly wasn't all that tiring.

Had Zion Road chicken rice and abaling (!!!) for dinner before heading over to island creamery to get my tub of strawberry sorbet!!!!!!


There's so much things swimming in my head right now. It's times like these when you start working and get busy, that you see who are true to you... You see whether your friends still remember you.


Somehow I feel it's easier to just give everything up and cut myself off totally. I don't know. Sometimes it hurts and sometimes it's just anger.

Ochappy Day.

It was my birthday and Jordus' on the 10th of June last wednesday, and while the dinner at 10 at Claymore was disappointing and somewhat disturbing, the company made up for it and it was a blast at rebel with all the drinks and shit. I've never had this big of a throbbing headache before. Thank you, life, and everyone that comes with it. 'Twas awesome.








And of course, my lovely dog would love to join in the fun with her absurd tail-wagging. Happy dog.




Let me now rant about the food served in 10 at Claymore (Pan Pacific Orchard). Firstly, the service was way below standard. Waiters wouldn't serve water immediately or take the initiative to come to our table when we were seated. Secondly, the food absolutely sucked. Almost everything was TERRIBLE and there was almost no variety. The pork was dry, the vegetables weren't fresh, the only thing that was good was the steak, but seemed like hawker centre steak to me. Why go to a hotel to have a disastrous dinner and pay that amount??
Just plain horrid. I've never had such horrible food at a hotel before in my life. Pan Pacific Orchard, you are a HOTEL, it's time to improve your standards!


And now, I enjoy my day off with my baby and movies and KFC. yums :D

Shangri-La Rose Veranda

Celebrated baby's 22nd birthday at Shangri-La's Rose Veranda for High Tea.
The food was AMAZING and the tea was just gorgeous. I've never had such good high tea before, and even Hyatt's Scotts Lounge can't compare.

The desserts alone was fantastic, and the food was enough of a variety and made me soooo full! The atmosphere was very victorian-style and had a nice ambience for taking photos and whatnot.










Aaaaaaaand it's my birthday today! Celebrating with my lovely twin Jordus... Shall update again soon! Ta.

WORK.

Well,

work is work. Work is tiring.

But pretty fun! I learnt a lot of new things and there's always something for me to do so I don't get bored, which is dangerous if I do... Heh.


I've also been able to get up at 7.30am for the past three work days- Hurray to me!!!! I have improved. In the past, it was 7.30pm. One whole day of difference.

Besides that, I've been eating cakes almost everyday.. Beautiful, gorgeous, delicious japanese cakes.

The first time I went with Jordus, I had their Cookies n Cream. Albeit the safe choice, but it was amazing.

Had the Apple Pie flavour and Strawberry Sorbet yesterday... OMFG I wanted to bring a whole tub of the Strawberry sorbet back home. Apple Pie was also pretty amazing!!!
