Haven't been doing much lately besides shopping and hanging out with friends. Four Seasons' One Ninety is an awesome place to chill but in terms of food and hi-tea, Cova is such a frickin' amazing place to be!!

Went to Kane's place earlier on and had a ball! Awesome dinner and dessert :D He had like, four tubs of Island Creamery icecream, the best kaya cake in the world and etc etc..

His dogs are absolutely lovely, all three of them!

Went to town today with mom to shop around and look-see. Tried the Coffee Jelly drink at Starbucks and it wasn't half bad, just extremely sweet. D: Wanted to have fish n co. for dinner but the queue was so mother-effing long.

Not only that, but I had no fucking clue that going to Orchard road by car on a saturday afternoon would take 45 minutes. Curse you, traffic jam!! I have never seen such a jam to Orchard road in my life before.

Materialistic wants are so dangerous, but I love.

WTF I just ordered these from Victoria's Secret like... 5 days ago?!!?!? And it's here already!?!? And normal postage at that!! It's the first time I've seen such effecient service from a US-based online webstore. I applaud you, VS!! Even ASOS isn't this fast!

Anyway, VS was having a sale on their website and I got a couple of shoes from Colin Stuart, Havainas and two dresses but shipping itself cost quite a bomb, but for it to be this fast (when the website states 14-30 days), I am absolutely floored!

New things make me a happy girl :D

Was craving udders for the past few days and my baby surprised me with a pint of Vanilla Beanz today. Their icecream is sooooo good... everyone should try it at least once! They have alcoholic flavours and mao shan wang durian flavour too. Definitely unique.

The GSS is making me as broke as a ______.

Like, for reals. Spent $800 at Zara together with mom, and saw some things at Mango worthy to check out. One thing I hate about sales are the crowds that come with it, and it makes me lazy to go to the changing room to try on outfits... And then I come home and try the clothes on, and either one is a size too big or a size too small.

Watched TRANSFORMERS a day ago with Ailin, Shaun & Greg. 'Twas AMAZING. A little too much dialogue but it was gooooooooood, and it explained so much more than I expected it to. Loved the fights and explosions though, and I don't usually like explosions in movies. *_*

Sometimes it's the little things in life that makes you happy. There's no need for a new branded bag or winning the lottery. The simple simple pleasures in life count as well.

My demon dog makes me happy every single day :D When I see her wag her tail, when I see her drink water or when I see her just lying in front of the door looking outside; makes me feel happy enough.

My mom bought these home yesterday and my sister and I just made a beeline for it! J.Co donuts are teh sex.

Shopping. Ohhhhhh shopping. My latest loot made a hole in my bank account but whatev cos' the clothes make me a happy person. I really gotta stop buying shit though.

Baby bought this for me the other day! Strawberry sorbet = my favourite! Island Creamery really has good ice creams and strawberry sorbet is amaaaaaazing!

SPEAKING OF ICE CREAM!!!

I chanced upon UDDERS ICE CREAM yesterday and tried a couple of flavours. All their ice creams are so smooth in texture and utterly DIVINE! Their Mao shan wang durian ice cream is SOOOO good. And not to mention a classic cookies n cream... Definitely worth a try!

Work yesterday surprisingly wasn't all that tiring.

Had Zion Road chicken rice and abaling (!!!) for dinner before heading over to island creamery to get my tub of strawberry sorbet!!!!!!

There's so much things swimming in my head right now. It's times like these when you start working and get busy, that you see who are true to you... You see whether your friends still remember you.

Somehow I feel it's easier to just give everything up and cut myself off totally. I don't know. Sometimes it hurts and sometimes it's just anger.

It was my birthday and Jordus' on the 10th of June last wednesday, and while the dinner at 10 at Claymore was disappointing and somewhat disturbing, the company made up for it and it was a blast at rebel with all the drinks and shit. I've never had this big of a throbbing headache before. Thank you, life, and everyone that comes with it. 'Twas awesome.

And of course, my lovely dog would love to join in the fun with her absurd tail-wagging. Happy dog.

Let me now rant about the food served in 10 at Claymore (Pan Pacific Orchard). Firstly, the service was way below standard. Waiters wouldn't serve water immediately or take the initiative to come to our table when we were seated. Secondly, the food absolutely sucked. Almost everything was TERRIBLE and there was almost no variety. The pork was dry, the vegetables weren't fresh, the only thing that was good was the steak, but seemed like hawker centre steak to me. Why go to a hotel to have a disastrous dinner and pay that amount??
Just plain horrid. I've never had such horrible food at a hotel before in my life. Pan Pacific Orchard, you are a HOTEL, it's time to improve your standards!

And now, I enjoy my day off with my baby and movies and KFC. yums :D

Shangri-La Rose Veranda

Celebrated baby's 22nd birthday at Shangri-La's Rose Veranda for High Tea.
The food was AMAZING and the tea was just gorgeous. I've never had such good high tea before, and even Hyatt's Scotts Lounge can't compare.

The desserts alone was fantastic, and the food was enough of a variety and made me soooo full! The atmosphere was very victorian-style and had a nice ambience for taking photos and whatnot.

Aaaaaaaand it's my birthday today! Celebrating with my lovely twin Jordus... Shall update again soon! Ta.

Well,

work is work. Work is tiring.

But pretty fun! I learnt a lot of new things and there's always something for me to do so I don't get bored, which is dangerous if I do... Heh.

I've also been able to get up at 7.30am for the past three work days- Hurray to me!!!! I have improved. In the past, it was 7.30pm. One whole day of difference.

Besides that, I've been eating cakes almost everyday.. Beautiful, gorgeous, delicious japanese cakes.

Birthday on wednesday, and baby's birthday on tuesday... Looking forward to it :D:D

The first time I went with Jordus, I had their Cookies n Cream. Albeit the safe choice, but it was amazing.

Had the Apple Pie flavour and Strawberry Sorbet yesterday... OMFG I wanted to bring a whole tub of the Strawberry sorbet back home. Apple Pie was also pretty amazing!!!

We printed this picture out (using jor's camera) but kept it for ourselves instead putting it up on the wall :)

Jordus surprised me with a cake from The Hyatt's Mezzanine yesterday because I said I was sad. Boyfriends aside, this is by far the sweetest and nicest thing anyone has ever done for me! I really really appreciate it and I feel so blessed and grateful to have such a friend who is like my twin!!!

Yet again our JB trip in and out was without pictures. Heh.

The food was pretty good but the fish maw soup or whatever it's called was pretty... fishy. And anyone who knows me knows I can't stand the smell, so naturally I was unable to take more than two mouthfuls of it. Other than that, I was surprised that the crab was actually pretty big compared to the previous time we went.

The MANTOUS were teh sex.

EITHERWAY! The highlight of that day was definitely JORDUS'S HAIR CUT.

I was absolutely stunned when I saw him and even burst out crying after sometime when he put on this hat that made him look like a leukemia patient.

Anyway, I have nothing to post, so I'll just post random pictures from random trips out which includes prawning, zouk and stuff like that.

It's funny how I seemingly must have my Tau huay almost everyday. And the lengths we go to get it is quite embarrassing. And I've become fat from all these supper nights. Tonight will be the last before I start my major dieting.

I honestly think it's my bf's fault cos' he we always drive out for supper at night. Oh, the temptation...

EVERYONE LET ME TELL YOU- Go for THIS tau huay store! TRUST ME. Their soya bean drink might not be nice, but their tau huay is THE SEX. Compared to the other store next to them which has RUDE staff who CHASE U AWAY FROM THE TABLE. Go to the red signboard tau huay store!

As per usual heading off to some undisclosed supper destination..

Tadah! Kim sam leng fishball noodles! I really enjoyed it, the mee pok was awesome.

I have developed some addiction/obsession to shopping online.. It's cheaper than stores and it saves me the trouble of going to a store; which since I wake up around dinner time, is near impossible for me to head down to. Plus, given that I'm the epitome of laziness.

Sometimes my r/s with the bf gets a little patchy and rough and it makes me so tired and evidently unhappy. I wish we knew how to go on dates and go to the movies and have dinner again, but because of his army schedule and the time that I wake up, all plans become fucked.

And it doesn't help that I feel that he doesn't understand me much. I guess it takes a long time for you to really know a person, huh?

Sometimes I wish I knew what kind of person my grandma is. I think she would dote on me very much.

Tonight was TCC and my staple TAU HUAY! We stood by the roadside and ate even though they were closing. Tau huay = instant orgasm.

I MUST HAVE THIS BREED IN EVERY COLOUR!!

Jordus told me a very sad story earlier about his grandmother's shetland sheepdog passing away. Made me wonder how if I ever lost my dog I would just lose my soul.

Takoyaki parties are fun when you make your own batter and everything else. My face was soooo frickin' flushed and dripping with sweat when I went near the grill. It was terrible! But everyone had fun eating and it was all good :D

Tonight was may-jahhhhhh.

We talked/laughed through the thunderstorm, mcdonalds, sexy angmohs and with weird people staring at our camera flashes going off. I always told myself I will not be someone who keeps taking pictures ouside but apparently I have fallen into that trap. There are times now where I regret not having pictures of certain memories!

Poor Jordus stood under the rain to bui cab. It was fucking funny and I was controlling my laughter all the way but it somehow worked. Heh.
